Sinofloc Polyacrylamide Used As Oil Field Additives


Sinofloc polyacrylamide flocculants has good performance in thickening, flocculation, and fluid rheology modifiers, which is widely used in drilling, plugging, water acidification, fracturing, wash well, completion, drag reduction, scale and drive oil. Currently many oil fields have entered the field of secondary, tertiary recovery, reservoir depth of 1000m above generally in some reservoir depth of 7000m, heterogeneity and offshore oilfield in oil production operations to the proposed more stringent conditions, deep oil and offshore oil corresponding to PAM also raised new demands to shear resistance, high temperature (above 100 ℃ up to 200 ℃), resistance to calcium ion, magnesium ion, seawater degradation. Partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) is often used as drilling adjusting agent, which consists of polyacrylamide hydrolysis. AMPs acrylamide copolymers have better resistance to temperature, decrease fluid loss and salt resistance in fresh drilling mud, saltwater drilling fluids, drilling fluids and seawater saturated brine drilling fluids.

However these are not to be taken literally. In order to select the optimum product for a specific application, it is essential that laboratory testwork followed by plant trials are carried out.
